7 Commitments of a Forerunner: A Sacred Charge to Press into God
by Mike Bickle
7 Commitments of a Forerunner is a prophetic call to the Body of Christ to refuse to settle for anything less than a practical pursuit of God and His purposes for this generation. This book challenges us to live in wholehearted pursuit of God as forerunners who operate in the power of the Holy Spirit today, as we spiritually prepare ourselves and others for the Lord’s return. Mike Bickle identifies seven foundational commitments that are necessary to walk out this sacred charge of a forerunner in everyday life, with insights and practical steps on how to do this.
Seven Longings of the Human Heart

by Mike Bickle
God created every person with deep longings that only He can fill. We all long beauty, greatness, fascination, and intimacy—we all long to be enjoyed, to be wholehearted, to make a lasting impact. When we realize that these longings are godly and that God wants to fulfill them, we begin to find new freedom and joy. We are not to repent of these longings, but to repent of seeking to satisfy them outside of our relationship with Jesus. To encounter God in these areas is to be fully alive.

The Rewards of Fasting

by Mike Bickle
The grace of fasting is a gift from God that positions us to experience more of God’s power and affections. We fast to encounter God more and to change the world! Done in the right spirit, fasting increases our receptivity to God’s voice and His Word. Jesus called His disciples to fast so as to encounter Him as the Bridegroom God (Mt. 9:15).

This book explores the rewards and delights that come to those who fast, and is designed to equip believers to embrace the discipline, grace, and joy of fasting, that they might more fully encounter Jesus as their heavenly Bridegroom.

Mourning for the Bridegroom

by Dana Candler
When we are separated for too long from someone we deeply love, we’re left with an ache of mourning. Jesus told us that His friends would mourn when the Bridegroom was taken from them (Matt. 9:15). We are living in the time of delay between His first and second comings, but we do not lament His death, for Jesus is alive.

So what does it mean for us to mourn for our Bridegroom? We are strangers in this world, on a pilgrimage until the day we see Him. We endure the groan of hunger and the more painful parts of loving Him. As we fast and pray, we refuse to accept the way things are in this evil age. Amidst the lethargy of our Western, modern, religious, landscape, yearning for our Bridegroom is a witness to others that He is more than a religion. He is a Person, so majestic in
beauty and kindness that our hearts are town by love for Him. If we love Him, will we not miss Him?

End Times Simplified

by David Sliker
Many believers don’t know how to approach the subject of the end times—our questions seem endless. Should we be afraid of the future? Will Christians face tribulation in the end times? Can we know what will happen? How do we know when the end times will come? There are answers, and the Bible is clearer than we often think.

End Times Simplified addresses some of the common questions about the end times and gives easy-to-understand explanations. It also provides guidance about how Christians can study, prepare for, and come to love God’s plan for the end of the age. If you’ve ever wanted to understand end-time events and what it means to you, this book, with its straightforward language and biblical truths, will serve as a resource.

The Culture of the Kingdom

by Billy Humphrey
When Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, the people had never heard anyone speak like this. The crowd was shocked at His teaching and authority. Was Jesus simply giving a great sermon that stunned His hearers or was He laying out the normal culture that was expected from all who would be citizens of His kingdom?

This book is a prophetic call that examines the culture of the kingdom of God as compared with the culture of the Western church. Through this introductory study of Jesus’ teaching from the Mount of Beatitudes, we discover answers to some challenging questions regarding the culture of the kingdom: What is the value system of the kingdom of God? How do we overcome the influence of the enemy in our lives and society? Are we living by the values of the kingdom or the values of the world system?

Until He Comes

by Billy Humphrey
Throughout the earth, a groundswell of prayer is building. People in many nations are engaging in worship and intercession twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, mirroring the reality that takes place in heaven’s throne room. Around the world, questions arise from people who are plunging into 24/7 prayer and from others who are interested observers. What is night and day prayer? Is there a biblical and historical precedent for this unique model of intercessory worship? How is ceaseless prayer applicable to those under the new covenant? What is the significance of the timing of this contemporary prayer movement? How can we respond to the Lord’s invitation to pray, both personally and corporately? How do our prayers make a difference in God’s end-time plan?

Billy Humphrey address all these questions while presenting the history of night-and-day prayer and challenging readers to consider their own calling to prayer. If you are interested in understanding the global prayer movement, Until He Comes will give you insight into this aspect of God’s end-time purpose.

Invitation to Encounter

by Julie Meyer
Intimacy with God and profound encounters with Him are available to all who are His friends. The Lord desires companions who will walk humbly with Him in all circumstances, who will stay faithful to Him even in times of demotion or hardship, and who will partner with Him in prayer.

As Julie Meyer sought the Lord and learned to walk in humility, the Lord unexpectedly came to her in a series of prophetic dreams. Her journey is chronicled in these pages. The dreams she received and recounts here carry the Lord’s invitation for each one of us who believes to seek and meet Him for ourselves. As Julie’s dreams show, God is inviting every believer to encounter Him. If we give ourselves to Him in every season of life, agreeing with Him in prayer and loving Him in humility, He will surely encounter us.

Zechariah: Visions and Prophecies

by David Baron
David Baron’s classic work Zechariah: Visions and Prophecies is considered a giant among expositions of this Old Testament book. The book of Zechariah contains some of the most specific and comprehensive information for the Church concerning end-time events which will occur in Jerusalem and the nations. Zechariah informs us of God’s end-time plan for the nation of Israel, of her coming glory and suffering, of the great battle at the close of this age—when the city of Jerusalem will be liberated by Jesus, the great Warrior-King—and of His future reign on earth from Jerusalem, “the City of Truth” (Zech. 8:3). Zechariah’s message brought a warning of trouble, yet held great promise for Jerusalem. He prophesied Jerusalem’s future glory and suffering, heralding a time when Jewish apostasy would reach its zenith, and then be swiftly followed by Israel’s wholehearted devotion to Jesus.

World Redemption

by Wes Hall
All of history is leading somewhere. Creation is groaning, sin is increasing, and believers are lifting their eyes and voices to God in the crescendo of the ages—the return of Jesus to the earth and the redemption of the world. The Bible unveils God’s glorious plan to redeem and restore His creation to its original condition. It is essential for believers to understand this plan in order to have the confidence and clarity to fully engage in God’s purposes today.

In this study manual, Wes Hall shows us that though our world lies in great darkness, God’s plan is to fully complete His work of justice and redemption when Jesus returns to the earth. With our hearts anchored in this central hope, we can persevere in prayer, be steadfast in love, and boldly proclaim His coming in the midst of the most adverse circumstances. Wes unfolds God’s grand story, designed to fascinate us with His wisdom and beauty, as He works through history to make every wrong thing right.

An Overview of God’s End-Time Plan

by Wes Hall
The return of Jesus is the climax of human history and the great hope of the Church. The generation in which He returns will be more dramatic than any other described in Scripture. Jesus has given the Church essential information to strengthen and preserve her through this season of unprecedented trouble and great glory. In this hour, the Lord is preparing a people who are familiar with the signs of His coming. They will prepare the way for His return by declaring in advance what He is about to do. More than just relaying information, they will impart love for Jesus and confidence in His leadership as they explain the wisdom of His end-time plan to others.

In this study manual, Wes Hall provides a biblical overview of the end times and explains why it is important for believers to study and understand this subject. From Jesus and the apostles we know that it is not only possible, but necessary, to recognize the generation of the Lord’s return. In light of this, it is important to grasp the significance and relevance of the end-time scriptures to our lives today. When the fullness of sin and the fullness of Satan’s rage are seen on the earth, it will be the Church’s most fruitful hour of good works and devotion to Jesus.

Old Testament Survey

by David Sliker
Studying the Old Testament is meant to be so much more than just taking a journey into the roots of the Christian faith. It is meant to be a journey into the heart of God, to usher us into the knowledge and understanding of the beautiful, fascinating, passionate, loving God of the universe. It is critical, especially at this time in history, that we pursue the knowledge of God and seek to understand His Word. Most people lack the tools, the confidence, or the interest to devote themselves to a focused study of the Bible, a book that often seems difficult to understand and connect with on a personal level. They need a framework to build upon and an accurate paradigm with which to approach God’s Word.

Old Testament Survey, the course book for David Sliker’s class at International House of Prayer University, provides the framework for you to pursue a deep and meaningful understanding of God and His Word. Progressing from the creation of the world in Genesis to the prophetic voice that spoke a few hundred years before the coming of Jesus, David leads us through the various events of the grand drama of God’s interaction with the Israelites for four thousand years of history. The events of those years, when interpreted correctly, give us an accurate understanding of the hour in which we currently live, and the reality of the need for prophetic voices in our day. The struggles of Israel at times seem to read like the stories found in today’s newspapers, and the situations and lives of the Israelites often feel similar to our own. The God who was in relationship with the Israelites of the Old Testament is the same God with whom we have relationship today. In gaining understanding about the events, issues, and people of the Old Testament, we can better know, love, and understand God as we move forward into the final hours of this age.

Foundations of Intercession

by Corey Russell
From Genesis to Revelation, God has made it clear that when He manifests Himself on earth, He desires the active involvement of humans. He created men and women to partner with Him through an intimate relationship that comes through prayer. But this intimacy between God and humans was served when Adam and Eve fell. Throughout the Bible, we see God searching for someone to stand in the gap between Himself and humanity. in the fullness of time, God sent His own intercessor—His Son—to accomplish the task of reconciling heaven and earth.

Foundations of Intercession is the course book for Corey Russell’s course at International House of Prayer University. This resource was developed to awaken believers to the glory of union with God and to the dignity of our calling to intercessory prayer.

The First Commandment

by Mike Bickle
These notes accompany Mike Bickle’s teaching series The First Commandment.

We were created with a longing to be wholehearted. Nothing satisfies the human spirit more than giving the deepest affections of our heart to God. How do we do this? What does it look like to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength?

Mike Bickle calls the Body of Christ to a deeper understanding of what it means to love the Lord. Matthew 22 clearly reveals God’s desire—that we might respond to Him with love. He longs for our lives to be given fully to Him, that He might empower us to live holy lives from the inside out, in our affections, thoughts, and words. God is preparing for Himself a pure and spotless Bride at the end of the age, a Bride who will call the nations back to the first commandment: “You shall love the Lord . . . with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first and great commandment.” (Matt. 22:35–38)
