Mike Bickle
Director, International House of Prayer
Mike Bickle is the director of the International House of Prayer, an evangelical missions organization based on 24/7 prayer with worship. Mike is also the founder of International House of Prayer University, which includes full-time ministry, music, and media schools. He is the author of several books, including Passion for Jesus, Growing in the Prophetic, The Pleasures of Loving God, After God’s Own Heart, and Prayers to Strengthen Your Inner Man. Mike’s teaching emphasizes growing in passion for Jesus through intimacy with God, doing evangelism and missions work from the place of night-and-day prayer, and the end times. Mike and his wife, Diane, have two married sons and four grandchildren.
Allen Hood
President, International House of Prayer University
Associate Director, International House of Prayer
Allen Hood (MDiv, Asbury Theological Seminary) serves as the associate director of the International House of Prayer of Kansas City. He is deeply committed to promoting the establishment of unceasing corporate worship and intercession in every tribe, tongue, and nation. His highest call as an intercessory missionary and a leader in the prayer movement is to intercede for the fullness of God to be released in the Church worldwide and to labor for the strengthening of the global prayer and missions movement. Allen also serves as president of International House of Prayer University. The school’s mandate is to equip and send out missionaries as dedicated intercessors and evangelists who will work to see revival within the Church and a harvest among those searching for God. Allen resides in Kansas City with his wife, Rachel, and their three sons.
Corey Russell
Instructor, International House of Prayer University
Corey Russell serves on the senior leadership team of the International House of Prayer and is an instructor at International House of Prayer University. His mission is to disciple and train young preachers and leaders. He travels nationally and internationally, preaching on the knowledge of God, intercession, and the urgency of the hour. He and his wife, Dana, have three daughters, Trinity, Mya, and Hadassah.
Brian Kim
Director, Luke18 Project, International House of Prayer
Brian Kim is the director of Luke18 Project, a missional movement with the goal of training 10,000 young pioneering leaders to plant prayer furnaces in the hardest and darkest places of the earth. He is a full-time intercessory missionary and senior leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, where he lives with his wife, Grace, and their two children.
Joe Meyer
Director, Awakening Teen Camp
Joe has a vision to equip teenagers through the knowledge of God. His desire is to see this teenage generation ardent in their love for God as they gain revelation of Jesus’ love, and that through this revelation they would have boldness to declare who He is. Joe has served on youth group leadership teams and is a four-year graduate of International House of Prayer University.
Misty Edwards
Senior Leader and Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Misty Edwards helped start the International House of Prayer in 1999 and has been a worship leader and songwriter here ever since. She serves on the senior leadership team and gives oversight to the 24/7 prayer room and all the worship leaders, musicians, and singers. Misty’s hunger for reality and encounter with Jesus fuels her worship-leading, songwriting, and preaching. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, her music has impacted thousands. Misty desires that her worship would bring people into the place of encounter with the heart of the Lord. Her passion is to see singers and songwriters step into their role as forerunners who have a message concerning God’s personality and the return of His Son.
Laura Hackett
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Laura Hackett learned to hear God’s voice at a young age by sitting at her piano, singing the Word, and listening for the Spirit. Growing up at the International House of Prayer, Laura was surrounded by music and soon became a songwriter and worship leader. She has a degree in music theory and teaches at Forerunner Music Academy, the music school at International House of Prayer University. Laura’s desire is that her music and songwriting would draw people to God.
Jon Thurlow
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Jon Thurlow has been serving the International House of Prayer as a full-time intercessory missionary since 2004. As a worship leader, his desire is to use music to help people connect with Jesus. With a passion to see a younger generation find creativity and inspiration in the arts through the Word of God and the place of prayer, Jon has also served as a worship team coach for International House of Prayer University.
Ryan Kondo
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
When an injury during Ryan Kondo’s senior year of high school interrupted his plans to pursue sport, he picked up the guitar, beginning a journey in worship ministry that would eventually lead him to the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) to be involved with the Forerunner Music Academy and become one of IHOPKC’s worship leaders. Ryan loves to minister to the Lord in song, with a focus on the cross and the worthiness and majesty of Jesus, and is passionate about training and encouraging young musicians.
Bryan McCleery
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Bryan began leading worship for his youth group at the age of seventeen. As a teenager, spending hours alone in his room singing to the Lord, he realized that he was made to minister to the Lord through song. In 2006, Bryan moved to Kansas City to sing and lead worship at the International House of Prayer. His goal is for his music to cause hearts to be awakened to love Jesus and to be stirred to pray for His return.
Justin Rizzo
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Before moving to Kansas City in 2004, Justin Rizzo lived in New York where he was raised as a pastor’s kid. Justin’s dad encouraged him to come to Kansas City for a six-month internship. The Lord encountered him in a powerful way, and Justin gave himself to a life of ministering to the Lord in worship, prayer, and study of the Word as his full-time occupation. His songs carry prophetic insight and unveil the depths of the Lord’s heart. Through his leadership and songwriting Justin is sounding a clear call to this generation to prepare the way of the Lord’s return.
Zac Dinsmore
Worship Leader, International House of Prayer
Zac has been leading worship since he was twelve years old. While a part of the children’s track in International House of Prayer (IHOPKC)’s Intro to IHOPKC program, he developed a love for worship leading and ministering to individuals through prophetic song. Zac now leads regularly at IHOPKC’s Global Prayer Room.
