Twelve-Step Groups

“My Anger Management group has had a positive impact on my life, allowing me to hear other people express their thoughts and feelings related to their behaviors. The group has helped me to realize and admit that I had an issue; it showed me how to surrender to the Lord, to trust Him in deep areas of my life, and experience healing and growth.” Diana

“Working with Twelve-Steps has helped me in a number of ways. First, it’s enabled me to be more accepting of others and myself. Second, I’ve actually experienced more of God’s mercy. Third, I’ve been encouraged by the community in my group. And finally, I’ve experienced deeper levels of serenity through these experiences and more consistent and more meaningful sobriety. I now view recovery as a meaningful part of my walk with God, instead of an abstract hurdle to leap before I can continue on with Him.” —Jeff

Living Waters

“I went into Living Waters without any understanding about why I lived in a pattern of self-destruction. I had no boundaries, made poor choices concerning all my relationships, and struggled with addictive behaviors. I knew that without significant healing I would stay in the same boundary-less and abusive relationships. Within weeks of starting the class, I began to see the root causes of the painful choices I was making, and by the end of the program, I was a totally different person.

“When I finished Living Waters, I felt as though I had just been saved, despite having been saved for the previous fifteen years. The power in the group confession, prayer ministry, and teaching changed the way I thought about my life. I have been empowered to make healthy choices that lead me to a productive life. I was able to work through my addictive behaviors and have been walking in greater freedom for the last six years. I am forever grateful. I thank God whenever I think of Living Waters, Tracey Bickle, and my time in the program. Going through the Living Waters program saved my life and my marriage.” —Kristen

“I wanted to be able to receive greater freedom in the way that I relate to other people. The Living Waters program gave me tools for working through life in prayer and with other people, face to face. Today, I’m learning how to connect with people in meaningful and healthy ways.

“One of the most valuable tools that I learned from Living Waters is to have other people in my life who really know who I am and who can call me higher in my walk with the Lord. Living Waters helped me to realize that sanctification is a process and holiness is a lifestyle. I’m learning to let Christ be the goal of my life. The Living Waters program served as a map to help me navigate towards Him.

“Today, more than ever, I believe that I’m not inherently bad. I thought that I was bad and that God was displeased with me. Now I believe that He loves me and has made me righteous through His Son, and that one day, by His grace, I will be a wonderful husband and father.” —Daniel

“I walked into Living Waters ashamed and quite broken. I had learned many habits that kept walls up between other people and me. As hard as I tried to connect with others, I was just so angry and codependent that I couldn’t.

“Living Waters gave me the tools, through small group prayer and teaching from the Word, to be able to connect with my emotions—and even more so, with the Lord.

“As of today, I am a small group leader in the Living Waters program. I stay involved with Foundations because I love seeing the Lord set captives free.” —Micah

Relational Wholeness

“I just went through Relational Wholeness. I think all believers would benefit from this program. It rocked the foundation of lies I have been living in, and the false foundations on which I had built my relationships. It also gave me insight into why I am the way I am; it ‘put a mirror in front of me.’ It gave me a whole new freedom—or the beginnings of one—that I never thought I’d have.

“I was freed from things I didn’t know were in my heart. This has caused me to look deeper into my heart and to allow the Lord to continue to work in my life. It was intimidating, to be honest, but I was so blessed.” —Jake

“Relational Wholeness has been so enlightening and helpful. It is giving me tools to walk in greater holiness; I come away each week feeling more and more empowered to walk in everything God has for my family and me! It’s definitely been a highlight of my summer, and I look forward to it every week.” —Heba

Theophostics

“God has used this prayer ministry in a major way in my life to heal many deep wounds. Seven years ago, I didn’t have a lot of hope in regards to God healing my heart. But the first time I received ministry, God met me and gave me peace and hope that He could still heal me. My deepest wounds and trauma have become a place where God is, and I still find Him in those places.” —Jeff

“Through Theophostics, I have been able to connect with Jesus in such a way that He has brought deliverance and deep inner healing to my life. So many unexplained behaviors and attitudes that I have lived with for most of my life became clear and have been transformed. Additionally, this ministry has brought new meaning to my intimacy with Jesus. I will be forever grateful for the prayer I received, because it has opened the door for much healing for me and my whole family.” —Joyce

Theophostic Prayer Ministry has been one of the most important tools I have ever used to hear the truth from Jesus. He sees situations so differently, and agreeing with Jesus’ perspective has brought freedom to my heart. The Lord is so faithful. He has unlocked places in my heart and my marriage that I thought would be shut for years. Hallelujah!  —Jane

After I had a stroke and lost my children, my marriage, and all my confidence, the Holy Spirit used this prayer ministry to give me new understanding, peace, and purpose. There is no way to describe how life-changing this program is; it truly allows the presence of the Holy Spirit to bring healing that I never imagined possible. The Lord has given me peace that passes all understanding, a hope, and a future.” —Sheila
