Finances: Frequently Asked Questions

How and When Do I Pay Tuition?

Refer to Tuition Pricing for your exact costs and to the Payment Schedule for important deadlines. New students must pay tuition and all fees or arrange for a payment plan by New Student Orientation. Returning students must pay their tuition and fees or arrange for a payment plan by the first day of the semester. Students who do not pay by the deadline are removed from class rosters. We highly recommend paying in advance to avoid long lines.

For security reasons, do not pay with cash at New Student Orientation. If paying with cash, visit one of the business offices (see below).

Please check your account balance on NetClassroom or Online Payment by the end of the first week of classes to verify that your account is accurate. If using NetClassroom, click on “Pay Online” under the “Additional Links” section to view tuition balance.

Please be advised that any payments made with a credit/debit card will be charged a 3% convenience fee.

Can I Have a Job While Attending IHOPU?

Students with a full class schedule can potentially maintain a part-time job in the surrounding metropolitan area. However, it is extremely rare and difficult for an individual to successfully combine a full-time job with a full course load, and so full-time work is therefore discouraged.

Can I Raise Financial Support?

Yes, if you are eligible to become a student member of the IHOPKC organization, you may raise support through the International House of Prayer. This support-raising process is called Forerunner Partnership Development. Read more »
