Dear Friends,
We invite you to join us at onething 2012 this December to encounter Jesus and His power that can transform our lives, campuses, and cities.
Jesus is the most fascinating Man who ever walked the earth. Many in the Church today only know Him as the One who forgives, heals, and provides for them, but the Jesus of the Bible is so much more. He possesses a magnificence that many never think of.
The apostle Paul wrote of gladly renouncing anything in his life that hindered his ability to encounter more of the excellence of Jesus (Phil. 3:8). He was so dedicated to Jesus, because he was so fascinated with Him. As we see what Paul saw about Jesus, then we will live like Paul lived.
Today, many who have given their all in ministry are burned out, spiritually bored, and living with dull hearts. We need a breakthrough in our hearts, as well as in our ministries, campuses, and homes. Encountering the Jesus of the Bible is the answer to burnout, powerlessness, and spiritual boredom.
The best-kept secret in the Church today is Jesus Himself! He is our most valuable treasure. There is no aspect of God’s grace that more powerfully transforms our emotions than when God the Spirit reveals God the Son to the human spirit. The revelation of His excellence and supremacy is the sustaining power of our hearts and the transforming power in our ministry to others.
Before Jesus returns, the Church will witness the greatest move of the Holy Spirit in history. The end-time revival will surpass even the book of Acts in power. The Body of Christ will surely touch the nations with the gospel and impact every sphere of society with the power of His kingdom.
We invite you to join 25,000 young adults in Kansas City this December to encounter Jesus through extended times of worship, teaching of the Word, and ministry in the power of the Spirit. Our primary aim is to encounter Jesus, so that we might go forth to do His works and change the world.
