Throughout the earth, we see that God is raising up a movement of young adults and awakening hearts to intimately encounter Him, that they might give themselves to love Jesus with all their hearts, proclaim His Word to their generation, and bring the kingdom to every sphere of society.

Onething Regionals

In a matter of weeks, the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) Onething Regionals will simultaneously take place across the country, involving 300 hundred students and 24-hour prayer and worship for seven days in seven cities.

If you missed last year’s annual Onething Conference, register for one of our Onething Regionals near you. Each Onething Regional is an IHOPKC conference designed to call young people to passionate love for Jesus.

Much like our annual Onething conference, which takes place in Kansas City every December, at our Onething Regionals we share biblical truths with high school and college students.

However, this year, prior to each regional event, our teams will minister in seven cities for seven days, serving the needs of the local church, preaching the gospel, leading worship, participating in outreach and evangelism, and praying for the sick and hurting.

Teams comprised of our students, worship leaders, and International House of Prayer University (IHOPU) leadership will work with local leaders to help organize and participate in two-day conferences.

“We’ve never done anything like what we’re about to do,” said Allen Hood, president of IHOPU, of this year’s approach to combine IHOPU ministry trips and Onething Regionals.

Throughout the earth, we see that God is raising up a movement of young adults and awakening hearts to intimately encounter Him, that they might give themselves to love Jesus with all their hearts, proclaim His Word to their generation, and bring the kingdom to every sphere of society.

It is our dream to see thousands upon thousands make the decision to embrace the glory of living a life of one thing as expressed by King David in Psalm 27: “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple (Psalm 27:4).

Registration for the conferences is open to people of all ages, regardless of your involvement in a ministry organization. Those who minister to college-aged adults and younger are particularly encouraged to attend the Regionals, as well as those who desire to grow in passion for Jesus.

“I can’t wait to see what God does,” Allen stated. “Our IHOPU students are going to be out preaching the gospel, releasing testimonies and exhortations.”

Among the IHOPKC leaders and worship leaders participating this year will be Allen Hood, Stuart Greaves, Wes Martin, Wes Hall, Murray and Deborah Hiebert, David Sliker, Ryan Kondo, Laura Hackett Park, Justin Rizzo, Jon Thurlow, Jaye Thomas, and Chris Tofilon.

“Some of our worship leaders have been here fifteen years, ministering to the Lord night and day and doing our conferences,” said Wes Martin, vice president of Student Affairs at IHOPU. “These are the teams we use when we do Onething events.”

We invite you to come and encounter the Lord with us in the metro New York–New Jersey area, Atlanta, the Twin cities, Pasadena, Saint Louis, Kansas City, or Dallas for a time of fresh fire and fresh anointing!
