Daniel and Beverly have been serving in prayer, preaching, and youth ministry since 2007 and currently reside in Grandview, Missouri with their son and daughter. Tessa Wilson, Associate Director Tessa is a graduate of Forerunner Music Academy but grew up in Northwest Arkansas, where she developed a love for teenagers and seeing them walk in their calling. She fell in love with Jesus as an ATC camper many years ago, then went on to be a group leader and executive administrator before becoming an associate director. Aside from serving with ATC, she also serves the local Kansas City teens full time and leads small groups and services along with her husband, Devin. Daniel Cawley, Associate Director Daniel is from Orlando, Florida. He is a 2021 graduate of the Forerunner School of Ministry at IHOPU. During his time in Kansas City, his heart has grown in love for pastoral ministry— specifically working young adults and youth. This year, Daniel is serving as one of the camp’s Associate Directors, but in years past, he has also been a Group Leader and the Activities Director for ATC. Daniel is excited for this summer and is ready to bring all his alligator wrestling and orange tree growing to the test. Caroline Hanson, Associate Director Caroline is a proud Texan but considers KC her home. She is currently in the Forerunner School of Ministry at IHOPU studying the Word and falling deeper in love with Christ. Caroline first encountered the Lord as a teenager when she was an ATC camper and her prayer is that the Lord would come and transform the hearts of teenagers with His unyielding love just like He did in her own life. Caroline has served as a Group Leader in past summers, but this summer is serving as an Associate Director for ATC. She is pumped for the fun and craziness that camp brings but is also expectant to see how the Lord meets each camper’s heart with His compassion, zeal, and love. Madison Pierce, Associate Director Madison is from Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a 2020 graduate from the Forerunner School of Ministry at IHOPU. Madison is excited to be part of ATC for his first year! Angela Burnham, Executive Administrator Angela is originally from Detroit, Michigan. She is currently going into her Junior Year at IHOPU for Ministry striving for more depth in the word. She has had a love for middle school and high school aged kids for years desiring to pour into them and be a friend. She enjoys random adventures, meeting new people, and animals. Angela has never done ATC but cannot be more excited to see the students meet the Lord and crush it in the games!” Awakening Teen Camp Group Leaders Each summer, ATC hires an awesome staff of male and female group leaders from the Kansas City area. Prior to camp, each group leader goes through a background check, multiple interviews, and an extensive training retreat. Our group leaders are ready, willing, and excited to disciple teens in the love of Christ, and to make life-long memories through the fun of camp.
