Trail Life Scouts (Ages 6–17)
Trail Life Scouts Troop 456 (Troop number derived from Malachi 4:5-6) is an all-boys scouting program for ages 6–17. The program teaches outdoor and survival skills from a biblical perspective and includes the Young Messenger training taught at IHOPKC’s Children’s Equipping Center. It provides an opportunity for boys to come alongside with their father or mother and receive merit badge training with other boys in their age group. Trail Life participates in planned outdoor activities throughout the year, like campouts, rock climbing, backpacking, kayaking, and gold panning. The scouts’ fathers (or mothers) are strongly encouraged to be a part of their boys’ scouting experience when possible
