Does all of my donation support the IHOPKC missions base?
Yes, 100% of your donation is used to support the religious and charitable mission of the International House of Prayer. Your donation may be used to fill any of the various needs around the IHOPKC missions base, including but not limited to funding the operation of the prayer room and its webstream; supporting the intercessors, singers, musicians, and support staff who serve here; supporting IHOPKC’s many ministry programs; or supporting the facilities and administration of our entire missions base.

When you indicate a preference that your donation supports a specific IHOPKC staff member, you help equip that staff member to serve at IHOPKC. A small percentage (approximately 3%) of electronic donations for staff support is used to cover card and bank processing fees. Donations preferenced to support a specific staff member remain subject to the control and administration of IHOPKC.

Are IHOPKC worship leaders, singers, musicians, and intercessors supported with my donation?
Like most missionaries, our worship leaders, singers, musicians, intercessors, and support staff build their own partnership teams to stand with them financially and in prayer. IHOPKC stands with them as well by providing small stipends as we are able and as there is need, and your donation helps us to do that. We are able to offer these stipends because of the generosity of IHOPKC’s partners.

How do I find out a staff member’s eGiving code?
Please reach out to the staff member directly to get their eGiving code. If you cannot reach that staff member, please contact the Partner Care Team. 

How do I send a check to partner with a staff member?
Make your check payable to “IHOPKC” and include “ministry of Staff Name” in the memo of the check.

How do staff members support themselves financially?
Like most missionaries, our staff build their own ministry partnership teams to stand with them both financially and in prayer. To do this, they communicate with their home church, family and friends, and other churches and individuals they meet through networking. As they cast vision and share the opportunity of partnership, the Lord raises up a team who cover their living and ministry expenses. As there is need and as we are able, we stand with our staff as well by providing small stipends—which is possible through the generosity of IHOPKC’s partners. 

What is Pushpay and why are you using it?
Pushpay is the giving platform we now use to process donations.* It makes online giving super easy. Plus it allows you to access your giving history and make changes when you set up an account. Here are some of the ways you benefit from Pushpay:

  • You can easily access and make changes to your giving.
  • You can text to make a donation. Simply text “IHOPKC” to 77977 and follow the prompts.
  • You can select specific ministry funds to invest in.
  • You no longer have to enter your information each time you give.
  • Your information is safe and secure!
  • You can download the Pushpay app to easily give and access your account from your smartphone.

*At this time, Pushpay is not set up to give or track giving toward staff support. For questions about staff support giving, please contact the staff member directly or contact the Partner Care Team. 

How do I access my Pushpay account online?
You can log into your Pushpay account here. You will have a Pushpay account if you have given to IHOPKC online any time after September 2018 (except for staff support giving). If you have not yet verified your Pushpay account, you will be able to do that at the same link.

How do I reset my Pushpay account password?
To reset your Pushpay account password, go here. 

Can I change the date of my recurring gift?
Yes. To change the date of your recurring gift to IHOPKC, please log into your Pushpay giving account here. 

To change the date of your recurring gift preferenced for a staff member, please contact the Partner Care Team. 

Can I donate if I don’t have a mobile phone number?
Yes. If you don’t have a mobile phone number, click “Need help?” on the mobile verification page. You can then choose “Send code via voice call” to verify using a land-line, or “Give as a guest” to donate without creating an account. 

To create a recurring donation without verifying a phone number, please call the Partner Care Team at (816) 763-0200 x.2529 Monday through Thursday 10am-4pm CT or and Friday 10am-2pm CT. 

Can I donate if my country is not listed?
Yes. If your country is not in the dropdown menu, you can still give a one-time donation here. Or, on any other giving page, simply enter your gift amount and click “Next.” On the following page, click “Need help?” and select “Give as guest.” This will allow you to donate without creating an account, which can be done from any country in the world!

At this time, only one-time gifts can be given online from countries not listed in the dropdown menu. However, recurring donations can be set up over the phone by calling the Partner Care Team at +1 (816) 763-0200 x.2529 Monday through Thursday 10am-4pm CT or Friday 10am-2pm CT. 

Are donations tax-deductible?
IHOPKC is registered as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions to IHOPKC are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under applicable law. 

Can my donation be tax-deductible if it is coming from outside the United States?
We have partnered with two foundations to help facilitate tax-deductibility for international donations. If you are from Canada, consider donating through the Great Commission Foundation here. If you are from another country, consider donating through the TrustBridge Global Foundation (Fund #198057). Please contact the Partner Care Team for more information about donating through either of these foundations. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under applicable law. 

Will I receive a receipt for my donation(s)?
Yes. For donations given online, receipts are emailed as soon as the donations process. For all donations—whether online, by mail, or by phone—giving statements are sent either monthly by email or quarterly by physical mail. 

If you’d like to change how you receive your giving statements or if you did not receive a giving statement, please contact the Partner Care Team. 

Will I receive an annual donation statement?
Annual contribution statements that can be used for tax-deductibility purposes are sent either by email or physical mail by the end of January for the previous year to partners who donate more than $20 in the previous year and have a U.S. mailing address.

If you’d like to change how you receive your annual contribution statement, or if after February 1 your annual contribution statement has not arrived, please contact the Partner Care Team. 

What if my receipt or statement is incorrect?
If you discover your donations are not accurately reflected on your receipt or statement, please contact the Partner Care Team. 

Can I donate non-cash gifts?
Yes. You can give non-cash donations like appreciated securities, stocks, mutual funds, bequests, IRA charitable rollovers, annuities, and more to strengthen the ministry of IHOPKC. For more information, visit our Legacy Planning site here or email legacy@ihopkc.org.

How do I designate IHOPKC as a beneficiary of my will, trust, or life insurance policy?
