¿Cuál es la respuesta para una de las ciudades más violentas del mundo? ¿Cuál es el remedio para esta crisis en Juarez? Las soluciones sociales, políticas o militares no están funcionando. Pero existe una respuesta, y es prestar atención al llamado del Señor: «Promulgad ayuno, convocad asamblea; congregad a los ancianos y a todos los habitantes de la tierra en la casa del SEÑOR vuestro Dios, y clamad al SEÑOR». (Joel 1:14) Ante la brujería, el ocultismo, el tráfico de drogas, el secuestro de mujeres, y el asesinato de vidas inocentes, estamos llamando a las iglesias en la frontera a que se reúnan para una noche de adoración, oración y clamor al Señor. Si invocamos su nombre, Él nos responderá. Sólo Él puede disipar los poderes de las tinieblas. Sólo Él puede salvar al cártel de narcotraficantes. Sólo Él puede transformar la ciudad de Juarez. «Entonces el SEÑOR se llenará de celo por su tierra, y tendrá piedad de su pueblo» (Joel 2:18).
Esta asamblea es organizada por un equipo de la Casa de Oración Internacional en Kansas City (IHOPKC).

A Solemn Assembly for Juarez and the Border
What is the answer for one of the most violent cities of the world? What is the prescription for this crisis in Juarez? Social, political, or military solutions are not working. There is but one answer, and it is to heed the Lord’s call: “Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.” (Joel 1:14)
In the face of witchcraft, occultism, drug trafficking, the abduction of women, and the murder of the innocent, we are calling churches along the border to gather for a night of worship, prayer, and crying out to God. If we call upon His name, He will answer us. He alone can turn back the powers of darkness. He alone can save the cartels. He alone can transform Juarez. “Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, and pity His people. The Lord will answer…” (Joel 2:18).
This gathering is hosted by a team from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City.
