40 Days of Listening
by Adam Wittenberg
In light of the ongoing reset in our ministry, we’re taking the next 40 days to slow down to seek God as a family. We will therefore post less online content (blogs, social media, etc.), while continuing to keep our prayer and worship room live, 24/7. It’s all part of intentionally entering the Lord’s invitation to focus on reprioritizing loving God and people. We don’t want to miss what He has for us in this hour, so we’re taking a break from our normal rhythms to seek Jesus first over all things. Please join us!
We encourage you to read our recent blog “A Season to Slow Down: The Next Step in Our Reset,” in which Dean Briggs talks more about what this time means to the IHOPKC family.
If you would like to engage with us during these 40 days, we recommend:
A Detroit native who was raised in Vermont and Connecticut, Adam worked as a newspaper journalist until 2012, when he moved to Kansas City to complete the Intro to IHOPKC internship. Afterwards, he earned a four-year certificate in House of Prayer Leadership from IHOPU and is now on full-time staff in the Marketing department at IHOPKC. He also serves in the NightWatch (overnight prayer hours) and is active in evangelism. He, and his wife Stephany, have a vision to reach people everywhere with the good news of Jesus Christ.
