The Holy Spirit is raising up a generation who love God with all their hearts, minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, and impact others. It is not enough to simply hear the call. The “yes” in the heart must be combined with real preparation for this great journey —through practical instruction, personal encounter, and spiritual impartation.

AN INTERNSHIP OF FATHERS AND MOTHERS

Whether you’ve spent most of your life in the workplace, ministry, or the home, the Simeon Company is for fifty-and-overs, married or single, who desire to give themselves more fully to prayer, worship, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, outreach, and works of justice. Simeon interns engage with young adults and minister in our spiritual family. Our goal is to see each intern filled with passion for Jesus and turning toward the younger generation as a spiritual father or mother. We believe that unity and ministry between generations are part of God’s glory and plan for the Church. While each internship has a distinctive age limit, length, and schedule, they all share the same central training components.

We came to the Simeon Company internship after more than thirty years of ministry and were in great need of refreshing. Now we are “retired,” as opposed to retired, and we’re excited about what God is doing in us and through us to reach not only our generation but the younger ones as well.

One 3-month track.

Cost

$1,350 per track

International fee: $250 additional one-time admin fee for international applicants

All payment is due by the first day of orientation. Cost covers all internship classes and activities but does not include housing or food.

All internship teaching and activities (interns are responsible for their travel, food, and housing).



Scott Bradshaw

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Before joining the IHOPKC staff in 2022, Scott Bradshaw spent 45 years in ministry as a pastor, church planter, and the founder and director of a house of prayer missions base in Virginia which birthed several other ministries including Awaken the Dawn, MapsGlobal, and GenZ4Jesus. He’s been married 45 years to Sue, the love of his life. They have two children, David and Jen, and seven grandchildren. Called by God to be a shepherd in His flock while in college, Scott completed a Master of Divinity degree followed by post-graduate studies and has authored several books. His passion is to know and love God with all his heart, love others well, and see God’s purposes fulfilled in this generation.
