As announced in our Sunday service, IHOPKC has engaged an independent investigator without IHOPKC ties, to investigate a series of sexual misconduct allegations against IHOPKC’s founder.
IHOPKC is committed to finding the truth regarding serious allegations and has initiated the process of doing so.
Additionally, shortly after IHOPKC’s announcement, the identity and contact information for the independent investigator was published online. The publication of the information was not by IHOPKC.
While this information was not a secret, the investigator had already reached out to alleged victims and representatives of the group who initiated the complaints, IHOPKC was choosing not to publicize this information to avoid any potential interference with the independence and effectiveness of the investigation.
Persons other than IHOPKC representatives decided to publish the contact information of the investigator.
As such, and to provide clarity, we are confirming that Rosalee McNamara is the lead independent investigator. Information pertaining to any potential sexual misconduct by IHOPKC’s founder should be directed to Ms. McNamara at rosalee.mcnamara@lathropgpm.com or 816-460-5604.
