Encounter God Service (EGS)

Friday, 7:30–9pm

We want to teach children to have understanding and might in their inner man and to be a generation that knows and understands their God (Jer. 9:24). We have designed the Children’s Equipping Center to teach and equip children in a foundational way on topics such as the love of God, the Word of God, who we are in Christ, the cross, prayer, healing and prophecy, and the second coming of Jesus.

Check-in:

• Visitors and families without security name tags may check in at the Welcome Center (located at the entrance of Forerunner Church).
• Families with security name tags may check in after worship at their child’s designated classroom. See below for classroom locations.

Classroom locations:

• Classrooms for children ages 3–12 are located at Forerunner Church.

Forerunner Church Services

Sunday – 8:45am service: check in at 8:30am

Sunday – 11am service: check in at 10:45am

Check-in:

• Families with security name tags may check in at their child’s designated classroom. See below for locations.
• Visitors and families without security name tags may check in at the Welcome Centers, which are located at the entrances of Forerunner Church and the CEC Blue Ridge Building.

Classroom locations:

• Classrooms for children ages 1–6 are located at Forerunner Church.
• Classrooms for children ages 7–12 are located at the CEC Blue Ridge Building.

Early Childhood, Ages 1–6

Each week children are taught the apostolic prayers of the New Testament, which will equip them to live a lifestyle of prayer, empower them to understand what God desires for His people, and begin to write the Word of God on their hearts.

Elementary, Ages 7–12

Intro to IHOPKC Internship Children’s Tracks

The Children’s Equipping Center offers Intro to IHOPKC children’s tracks for children ages 1-12. Children’s tracks run concurrently with most adult sessions and are taught by passionate staff who desire to see the younger generation filled with the knowledge of God. Parents must register and attend Intro to IHOPKC for children to participate in children’s tracks.
